Safety

How safety works on debAIt

debAIt is built around disagreement — that only works when people stay safe while they argue. This page explains, in plain language, what we expect and what happens when you report or block someone.

What we expect

  • Attack the argument, not the person. Sharp disagreement is the point; harassment is not.
  • No hate, threats or sexual content. Severe categories are treated as urgent.
  • Extra care around minors. debAIt is 16+, and anything that endangers a minor is prioritized above everything else.
  • Play fair. No spam, impersonation or manipulated outcomes.

What happens when you report

  1. You pick a reason and can add detail. Your report is private — the person you report never learns who reported them.
  2. You get a receipt with a report ID, and the report goes to our team for human review.
  3. Severe categories — safety, self-harm, minors — are flagged for expedited review.
  4. Outcomes can include removing content, warnings, restrictions or account removal. Nothing happens automatically from a single report without review.
No retaliation: reporting never affects your own account, ranking or standing — even when a report is not upheld.

You can see the reports you have submitted under Settings → Data & privacy → My reports.

How blocking works

  • Blocking limits who can contact you: a blocked person cannot message you, challenge you or interact with your content.
  • Blocking is silent — the other person is not notified.
  • You can block someone from their profile.
